Playoffs
With only a few teams left in the football season the playoffs are just around the corner. Some teams who happen to be leading their divisions are not even at 500. Now tell me how a team who may end up with 10 or even 11 wins may noy make the playoffs but a team who wins their devision with 7 or 8 wins will. the NFL along with NCAA should both have some sort of playoff system which gives every team a shot.
A stop to the madness in the NFL
For months now the NFL has made a big issue about helmet to helmet contact, hitting a quarterback, and even defenseless receivers. The more I look into it I have noticed that many of these quarterbacks and receivers aren’t even properly equipped. Now they all wear shoulder pads, helmets and even other things to look flashy. But where have all the mouth pieces, leg pads and even braces to prevent injury gone. If you watch college football at all you will notice that everyone is properly equipped. Thus how many injuries do you see on a weekly basis? The NFL has had injuries on a weekly basis and many of them head injuries. From the pee wee level mouth pieces had to be worn. Why is it that professionals aren’t, and to think the kids look up to them. If the NFL is so worried about changing the game and the safety of the players then they need to look into the equipment that the players are, or should I say not wearing.

Power Swing In Dallas Pro Sports
Over the last few months there has been a big power swing in Dallas pro sports. from what was once a city who lived and died over their football team, has taken a new aproach this year. The Dallas Cowboys who have starte the season 1-5 arent what on everybodys minds. The Texas Rangers have reached the World Series and is the face of Dallas pro sports now days. Is this a big problem, of course all the teams have a good following but Jerry Jones, the Cowboys owner, loves the spot light and he and the team is no longer in it. What can the Cowboys do in order to re gain the power in Dallas. Of couse one answer is WIN! On the other hand there has to be something else they can do.

Are the fines fair in the NFL
The last week many have heard about the problems in the NFL regarding some big hits. one of the major stories is James Harrison on The Pittsburgh Steelers getting fined $75,000 for his hits against the Browns last Sunday. Is this fair to fine an individual so much money for doing his job, especially at a high level. I personally think that all this stuff is ridiculous. All these QB and WR are aware of the risk they take when they step on the field yet there being protected. Ray Lewis said it best when he said they need to quit being pussies and take the hits that they are getting paid to take. Football as we know it is going downhill and all these talented athletes who were taught at a young age the fundamentals are going to have to re teach them self for the sake of the league. WHAT LEAGUE! What’s going to be the next thing that the LEAGUE tries to control?

Crunch Time
With the MLB post season right down the corner and the race for the AL east, NL west and NL wild card up for grabs should make it interesting as the season come to an end. The NY Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays seem to be battling it out for the home field rights but don't count out either of them because the team who doesn't finish on top will obviously get the wild card. In the NL the race for the NL West gets interesting every day. With San Diego Padres leading as of today and the San Francisco Giants and the Colorado Rockies trailing closely behind should get interesting as some key division match ups are to come up later in the week. This could make it or break it for a few teams. On the other hand another race that many aren't talking about is the race for the worst team in the MLB. The hometown Pittsburgh Pirates which started off hot and everyone hoped they would finish 500 for the first time in a while have yet again approached the end of the season with worst record in the league and are 32 games behind the closest playoff spot. If they can somehow come up with a winning streak to end the season, they might end up second to last and on their way to a good start next season. in the end which ever race you plan on watching know deep down that the Pirates are on their way to the top.

Whats the problem in BIG D?
After a devastating loss to the Redskins in week one and again to the Bears in week two what might be the problem in BIG D. The Cowboys who at the beginning of the year had talks about Super Bowl contenders are looking to hot. Going 0-2 to start the 2010 season and a tough schedule to follow. Some say the its the coaching others will blame player or even the management for not going out and picking up player to better themselves from the previous year. There are many things that could factor why the Cowboys aren't doing well to start off the season but which answer is the right one.
